STUDENT JOURNAL (Reflection Journal-General Characteristic of Digital Media)

There are various type of digital media, they are:

         -Mixing Media

           It media that combines text, image, audio and video files into one file and it can provide the data           clearly, usually to present some presentation through power point.

         -Distributing Media.

          All the data spread via internet but the recipients can edit the data, due to that the owner of the data has to label the data that the owner created by copyright issues.

         -Electronic Communication

        Communication is the essential thing in every teaching and learning not only language. In this era communication between teachers and students is not necessary through face to face, it is not attractive anymore. Electronic Communication has important position among human, especially in teaching and learning aspect, Teachers and Students should not to meet to explain some cases, they can build discussion without any meeting but through email, Face-book, blogspot, etc.

         -Information on The Web

          WWW (Wold Wide Web) in 1993 is the tool to search everything across nations and countries easyly and effectively. Nowadays, there are many searchers tool to help The Learners to improve the effectiveness of learning, like Mozila, Internet Explorer, Safari etc.

         -Software

           All hard wares in the computer need software to make them live, because software is like the heart for the electronic tools especially computer, learners can not proses the data into files if no software in the computer. 

         -Interactivity

        The benefit of Digital Media usage is learners can get many opinions of they works, because many people will respond the data if learners share the work through internet and learners willl get many feedback soon.

          

All things can be done by using Digital Media but do not hang all of the works to Digital Media....
